CompTIA Network+ covers the fundamental skills and concepts that you will need to use on the job in any type of networking career. Throughout the course you will be able to apply skills learned through a variety of virtual labs, test yourself with quizzes, and be able to dive into content using videos on each topic. Upon completion of all course materials and self-study, you will be prepared for the CompTIA Network+ examination.
If you’re ready to begin a career in IT security, this course is the perfect starting point: CompTIA Security+ is a globally recognized certification that validates the skills required to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career. That means that employers will know you’re job-ready when you apply for your first role. This course prepares you for the CompTIA Security+ exam and is recommended for ACE credit. The cost of the exam is covered by ACI Learning.

No training program can guarantee a job. However, ACI Learning Tech Academy had a 73% employment outcome rate across our programs for 2025, which is strong for the industry.
This rate reflects graduates who are employed in the field they were trained for, not inflated numbers that include unrelated roles. Through instructor-led training and dedicated career support, we help prepare students for entry-level IT roles and support them in landing positions aligned with their training.
The Network Technician program prepares you for two industry-recognized CompTIA certifications: Network+ and Security+. You’ll start by building a strong foundation in networking concepts with Network+, then expand your skills into essential cybersecurity principles with Security+. Together, these certifications help you develop the practical knowledge needed to support and secure modern networks with confidence.
All ACI Learning Tech Academy programs are designed with veterans and military families in mind. However, as an online-only program, Network Technician can’t be funded with most military education benefits (including Chapter 33). We recommend reviewing your specific eligibility and visiting our funding page for more resources and information on other funding options.
The Network Technician program costs $5,000, and funding options are available. Most students fund their training for this program with a student loan. We work with several providers for student loans. Visit our funding page to explore available opportunities.
If you complete one of ACI Learning Tech Academy’s ACE CREDIT–recommended courses, you may be eligible to earn college credit. The Network Technician program is recommended for 6 credits: the CompTIA Network+ course is recommended for 3 college credits, and the CompTIA Security+ course is recommended for 3 college credits.
ACE CREDIT recommendations allow you to gain entry-level IT training and certifications while still having the option to apply for college credit later. If you decide to pursue a bachelor’s degree or additional education in the future, this can help you get a head start.
